If you're at all affected by the suffering our friends and colleagues in Victoria are undergoing, then read Grant Watson's LJ post regarding a Perth SF fandom initiative to raise money and essential items to help out those in need.
Lyn has donated a story. I've donated a story and a poem. And we'll be heading down to the fundraising barbecue on Saturday (details here) with our arms stuffed full of as many clothes, toys and sundry items as the house no longer needs.
Contribute to the 'zine, if that's your thing. Buy it, if it's not (And if you buy it, and contact me, I will happily sign it for you at your request, as will Lyn). And if you can attend, come down to the South Perth foreshore at 4pm on Saturday with your arms full of stuff to help, and be a part of something important.

Apparently the Red Cross is asking people not to donate clothes, etc.
